Subject: Looking for RIBC/Qualifying league results

  Posted by: Nerfherders - [501035289] Thu, Mar 27, 2008, 19:30

I am in the process of refining my new ranking system for players and it is based off of stats and how they place within a league. I have it finished for my keeper league and I would like to do rankings for RIBC-style leagues.

So if anyone has full results for any RIBC or qualifying league please send them to me. Thanks!

You can get four full seasons of RIBC stats, plus YTD stats for the current season here

I gathered RIBC historic info and discussed it in this thread. There is a link there for some raw data.

Is that what you are looking for?

I'm actually looking for the final stats for each league so I can build thresholds for where stats fall for each placement. i.e. what is the average winning number for runs? what is the average 7th place finish for runs? etc etc.

Something I found last night was that you can click on your fantasy profile while in Yahoo! and get full results for every league you've played in dating back to 2004 or so. Unfortunately I could only get that for leagues I played in. Other team's profiles would not let me see the league results.

As of now I have 8 leagues - the three I played in, one posted last year, and the four RIBC leagues Guru posted a link for. That should be enough to get solid averages from, but I will gladly take anymore if you are willing to go into your profiles and send the results to me.

Thanks again

I have eleven leagues loaded in so far and it is coming together. I realized it would be good to balance everything by league level and by season so I need just one more league - a AAA from 2004.

You probably noticed this but there's been a noticeable change in average stats over the years. compare last years obp and slg to the previous year for example.

Yes that is why I am using a AA, AAA, and RIBC from each year, 2004-2007. so three leagues from each year, and four leagues from each level.

I have it all compiled and will try to finish up my rankings on Monday.
