Guru-Would you please look at posts 70,72,73, and 74 in the RIBC Eastern League AA thread in the Baseball Leagues Forum and answer this scoring question. Thanks.

On the day that you hit the limit in IP, Yahoo counts all IP. It is a viable strategy (and one I have used in the past) to load up on pitching for that final day.

Here are the published rules at the Yahoo site
All players active on the day a maximum is reached will receive credit for their stats.
Of course, the risk with pitching is that this can wreak havoc with ERA and WHIP. But if your ratios can withstand it, it is a good tactic.

I have 9 pitchers starting today. And I have 7 innings left. That has to tie or set an RIBC record. Half of them I've never heard of.

Who knows. Maybe after today you might wish you never had heard of them ;)

I had 9 pitchers with 2 inning left a couple years ago. And I did lose a point in ERA but got 3 points in wins and 2 points in strikouts.

Were all of your pitchers starting blue hen? I had one rainout, so you may hold the RIBC record, then. Not that you get anything for it.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure. Some of them weren't good, but they all started.
