As luck would have it, I will be in Chicago on April 13 which, coincidently, is the Cubs home opener vs. Colorado.
Obviously, the game is sold out; however, StubHub has seats available. I'm currently looking at single seats, but if there's a Gurupie in the area that has an extra ticket (Ha!) or would like to go in on a pair (or more) let me know in the next few weeks. For selfish reasons I'm going to set a deadline March 25, just so I can be sure to get something in the park and (hopefully) in my price range <$100. |

It's hardly opening day, but I went to a weekend game last summer and bought tickets right up near the stadium before the game (not from a scalper). $60 for about 15 rows back, behind the plate.
Just saying.

Yeah, we went last May and paid face value for Friday afternoon bleacher seats.

Nonextendable. It'll actually be a pretty quick turnaround. The wife has conference that starts Monday morning, so we'll get to Chicago Sunday afternoon-ish and head back out Wednesday morning-ish. Plane tickets already bought.
Monday is my only shot.

I am going to put them on eBay as soon as I have them in hand...but if you want them I will sell them for 60ea...I have 6.

Found a (relatively) good deal, couldn't wait, made the purchase.
Bought through TicketZoom.com using a mycokerewards $20 coupon. Section 525 (upper level between home and first) $53+ 10% broker fee ($10.60)+ $16 shipping minus $20= $59.60
I didn't see anything close to that on stubhub.
