I love the wrestling business. Anything to garner attention, very Bill Veeck in how it's run.
Ring of Honor wrestling - arguably the third largest wrestling company in the US - just latched on to a recent tweet sent by White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen where he said "Looking for tickets to go to wrestlemania, I need help with that, they r way too expensive" by i inviting him and his family and their friends to the ROH shows running during Wrestlemania weekend , near the White Sox spring training facilities.
the best thing about the Press Release is that it is SO wrestling, from the taunting of the rival company to the subtle butt kissing of Guillen (in wrestling terminology, it's called getting Cheap Pops by doing things like "So, chicago, what do you say!?!? do i kick his butt right here in this ring?!!?!")
I love wrestling. lol. and a few folks here on this board are also fans, and some are even ROH fans.
and, as a full disclosure, I've got a lot of friends in this company, and was on their payroll for a couple of years. |
