Any Cardinal fans know what happened to Ryan Franklin tonight? He threw 9 pitches and then was replaced by Motte. Did he get hurt or was he simply ineffective? Thanks for any information.

      Sun, Jun 20, 2010, 20:20 		The grooming of Motte has begun. Franklin walked the leadoff hitter and then gave up 2 hits. Motte came in and gave up a hit, but saved the win.

Nice luxury for St Louis to have. Even the best closers don't have it some days. Franklin's job seems very secure, he still has only allowed 8 runs on the year, with 1 blown save, and zero losses.
