Story
I don't remember his Cincinnati days very well, but I watched him manage many games against my Indians. A great manager for a long time. |

Growing up in Michigan he was the Coach I knew of most, it's been a horrible year for sports losses.

a true legend. while watching the World Series, it dawned on me that i'm now old enough to remember when the managers of both teams (and other teams not in the world series) played in the Bigs.
i wondered to myself "whatever happened to Sparky Anderson and the other managers who were old guys already when i was a fan, and not players..."
RIP Sparky.
