Who is the best second baseman in baseball? Based on the good stuff we've gotten in the Mattingly thread, hopefully this can spark some good discussion.

      Wed, Nov 24, 2010, 10:32 		I've often read that most GM's "starting a team today" would go Pedroia prior to this years injury... but now that Cano fixed his defense its gonna be hard to deny him.

Kinsler and Weeks always get hurt, Phillips underrated. The last 5 years or so I've always felt I'd like to have Utley. But he's getting up there in age, so I wouldn't pick him on the "starting a team today" thing thinking long term. For one game I might though.

So is this For One Game or Starting a Team Today debate?
