Hi guys. I have something for work that is due pretty much yesterday. I completed it at home on my Mac but must not have changed the file type to .doc as work uses Microsoft.
Is anyone available for me to send the document to them and for them to save it as .doc so i can open it at work?

You should be able to tell word to open it up anyway, even if you didn't save it with the .doc extension.
Find the file (look for All Files in the Types of Files pull down menu) and try to open it.

I renamed it, but it seemed to be corrupted. I have gone home and tried to sort it out this way.

Yea, all set. Thanks guys. Still learning my mac, did not realise i had to "export" to save it as a .doc file. At least i know for next time.
A little embarrassed at how simple it ended up being.

I used to use Macs at work exclusively so I know they're great. Nowhere near as cheap as a pc though.
