A new collective bargaining agreement is tentatively in place. While we all get a great treat in that the Allstar game no longer determines WS homefield advantage there are a few items that have a more direct impact on fantasy baseball.
For one the DL is now a 10 day minimum instead of 15. Also international play plan is part of the new CBA. I think we all remember 2 years ago a full week or so before the season started, we had a game that counts between the Dodgers and Diamonbacks in (I think) Australia. That screwed with drafts and spring training decision making to no end. While there aren't real specifics about international play in the article, its worth noting that it is back. |
