While not quite an expansion draft per se, this marks Gurupie 20's second ever draft of players from the available teams. Key clarifications on this process:

1) Combination of Major League roster and Prospects

The draft is ONE draft and includes the entirety of each Major League and Prospect rosters. Want Jazz Chisholm bad? You may have to forego picking Josh Bell to get him. It is completely up to the new managers to pick between a Major Leaguer or Prospect.

2) Draft will snake:

Round 1: Jon Dowd, Code Toothpick then Vampire Weekend
Round 2: Vampire Weekend, Code Toothpick, Jon Dowd
Round 3: Jon Dowd, Code Toothpick, Vampire Weekend
Round 4: Vampire Weekend, Code Toothpick Jon Down
.....and so on

3) Prospects remain on the Prospect List

4) Every player, no matter how insignificant their perceived value, is to be picked.

5) Given our IR spots and differing numbers of prospects, it is quite possible that the number of players in the pool will not result in all 3 teams having an equal number of players in the end.

My plan is just to ignore this.....the players at the very end of the draft will likely be so insignificant (retirements, opt-outs or injuries) that I do not find it to be material.

6) The draft is done in this thread. Please post the round and pick number with your pick in this format:

Once completed, I will quickly reset rosters in ESPN, and these teams are ready for trades and all offseason activity!

This is a "slow draft". But with only 3 participants and plenty of time to arrange your queues, I hope that this will progress with relative swiftness. If you expect to be out for significant portions of a day, a polite heads up to your fellow drafters is appreciated. We know work and home lives get in the way.

      Thu, Feb 04, 2021, 10:48 		Congratulations Jon Dowd, Code Toothpick and Vampire Weekend on a successful Expansion Draft! I greatly appreciate your preparedness and timeliness. A few comments / clarifications:

The ending pool of players between the 3 players exceeded our normal roster limits due to ending the 2019 season with players on the IR. This results in me not being able to add Aquino to Dowd's roster (why Aquino? He was just the last one I tried to enter). Technically Dowd still has rights to Aquino and may transact him in any way he wishes: keep him, trade him, etc.

PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ROSTERS!! I make mistakes.

Please double check your prospects! I checked them and they should be good, but please check anyway.
