Happy February …. Opening Day in Japan is 3/18 so let’s get the ball rolling
Starting the interest thread.
Last year we had 16 in RIBC, 14 in AAA. Would love to get back to a full 32.

We really want to have 16 in both leagues if possible.

Heard from IAC. He is out this season. maspero checked in #4 above. That just leaves twilson that hasn't checked in yet.
So 15/16 for RIBC, awaiting twilson and 13/16(?) for AAA.
Guess we need 3 maybe 4 recruits to fill out AAA.

I renewed the AAA league from last year, inviting everyone that is returning from 2024. You probably got an e-mail from Yahoo.
Then I sent out an email with an invite link to the following:

If everyone joins, then we have 15 in AAA and Holt's brother would be 16. We may yet have another opening if twilson does not check in for RIBC. Also, if others come along, then Phillyfan and I can surrender our second teams. In that case, ideally someone will step forward to commish AAA. So stand by and keep recruiting.

So, with twilson, we should have 16/16 assigned to RIBC (though not everyone has signed up to Yahoo league yet).
We also have 15/16 signed up to Yahoo AAA league. Holt's brother is earmarked for the 16th team, with Philsphan as a backup taking a second team. If we find that we have another person beyond Holt's brother wanting to join AAA in the next week, I will give up my AAA team, but someone else will need to commish. Look for a AAA thread soon.

for RIBC - We can start our draft order selection Monday. So everyone please check back Monday... i will also send a group email.
I will launch the draft as soon as everyone signs up for draftime (when they launch) and when the draft selection ends. The draft will be unclocked until Monday March 3. After the first pick is posted 3/3, we will have a 4 hour clock thereafter (with an overnight pause).
I still need 2 sign ups for Yahoo. Multiple emails sent already.
