Note: We are adding an offensive UTIL spot. Still 25 players, only 5 bench spots now. (I'll add 2 IR after we transfer it to Yahoo!, but don't count the IR in the draft.)

btw I think 14 is too many people...but you are running the show...heck we almost had enough people interested that we could have had two seperate 10 team drafts.

Head-to-Head In head-to-head, opponents square off against one another every week in 8-, 10- or 12-team leagues or ML-universe, AL-only or NL-only. The 5x5 stat set rules apply because there are 10 categories where each category is worth one win. Team totals are accumulated in each of the 10 statistical categories for a specific one week period (Monday through Sunday). At the end of that week, a win or a loss is awarded in each category based on the weekly total.

Fosten-- we are working on Mock Draft #3. We currently have 7 and are looking for 10. Was just wondering if you wanted to allow 2 of your draftees to come over to us. That would bring you down to 12 and get us up to 9 (only needing one more). Just give the OK and we'll be set. If you don't want to, that's fine, too, but it was a thought that we came up with.

Not that nobody's drafting, just that the next guy in line never (to my knowledge) actually signed up for the league. If I'm mistaken, I apologize, for whining about it - especially to Twarpy, but if not, lets go!

Twarpy was one of the gurupies I had previously talked to about the draft, he knows about it, and is planning on participating. I just think he hasn't been online today. No need to raise a fit. And in my experience, I think 14 teams is the ideal size for a league. 12 is acceptable (but much less interesting) and anything less is ridiculous. Let's just stick with what we have, Twarpy is never too far away.

seanfeld, Just curious as to where you get your info about less then 12 being ridiculous? I looked at alot of mock drafts, including ESPN and they use 10 teams. I guess if it is good enough for ESPN it is good enough for us

Sorry guys, post 30 was written by me. Seanfeld is my roomate and we both have handles on this puter. And, I'm just talking from experience, small leagues become a stud fest, everyone has good teams that they don't have to manage, and it gets boring. The waiver wire is too large and you don't get to patrol it for exciting rookies or crappy players on a hot streak (because good quality players are too readily available). I concluded two years ago that I'd never do anything less than a 12 team league again.

Okay by me. But with that said, this draft looks like a wash. Who's still in it? No more than 11 now. Should we scrap this and start fresh, waiting on 14 names? Or will Twarpy pick soon, and if so, who picks after him?
