We had a triple double last night from an unusual suspect. Hedo Turkoglu had 10 points, 10 assists, and 14 boards in a win over the defensively challenged G.S. Warriors. Apparently, the return to Orlando is agreeing with him.
Meanwhile, in his second game after returning from an extended injury, Rajon Rondo seems to be back in form, dishing out 16 assists.
Since I was on vacation last week, I need to give a belated shout-out to the RIFC champion, Mötley Crüe, who won his second RIFC title this year (the first was in 2004). Curiously, for both of those championships he entered the playoffs as the #6 seed, and both times he bested the #8 seed in the championship game. Who says lightning doesn’t strike twice?
