It looks like Tiger will survive to the weekend, currently at -3 through 11 holes in the second round. Mickelson stands at -2 after the first round, and doesn’t tee it up until this afternoon. I’m sure NBC would love this to turn into a Tiger vs. Phil weekend, but so far, that’s not looking likely even if they both survive, with several players already double digits under par. Then again, Rory McIlroy barely made the cut last week, so you never know…
