Subject: cant access hdd?

I have a 300gb hdd that i copied all of my info to. I then reinstalled windows xp pro. Now i cant read any of that info on the back up hdd. It says access denied when i try to open a folder inside it. All i want to do is copy the info back.

Any help would be great!

      Thu, Jul 27, 2006, 10:52 		Right click on the drive and then go to security. Click Advanced and go to ownership and take ownership of that and check the box to take ownership of subfolders.
