Hi guys
I just got a trojan on my computer dont know how. Backdoor is what its called
Im leaving for work, and have left the virus scanner running, hopefully this works. I couldnt find much info on removal of it, does anyone have any info i could use.

Backdoor Trojan is a generic name for a series of trojans (which allow access to your computer from somewhere else).
If you have an updated virus software you should be able to remove it or at least quarantine it.

Search for a Torjan Killer on the web. There are a couple that offer a free 30-day trial. I can't remember, but there was one that got rid of it after all other anti-virus software couldn't find it.

Thanx guys, ill try it when i get home today. I dont know if my virus scanner found it or not. I got home and there was Gaobot that it couldnt rid of, so i quarintined it, but it said it found 2 things, so im assuming the other was the trojan and it was removed, as ive had no more popups telling me its been found and to run avg to remove it.
