You mean like Earl Anthony and Nelson Burton?

I remember Earl Anthony. Man, that guy was good. So much better than Walter Ray.

I'm thinking Branch is going to play in the big game in Hawaii.

lol

my dad plays competitive horseshoes (yes there is such a thing) and knows walter ray williams. he actually switched to pitching horseshoes left-handed a year or two ago and still manages to place 2nd at the world tournament (whether to show off, or to protect his bowling arm, we don't know).

Just out of curiousity, I had to see if PBA.com had a fantasy league. They do not. I guess best ball would be a bit too easy, eh?

Regarding Branch, I don't think this will make him a Pro Bowl guy, but I think both teams made a great trade here. Being able to roll out DJax, Branch, Burleson, and Engram as a 4-WR set is pretty scary, especially with Alexander in the backfield.

He'll re-do that in two years, and if not, he'll be cut.

I am surprised that Seattle has collected so many name brand WR's. What are they going to do with all of those guys? It's like the Yankees' rotation.

The used to. ESPN had some uber-fantasy challenge that would add up your scores from every type of league that they ran. I had a fantasy fishing team at one point.

It is a headache for a fantasy manager. I was thinking about dumping Engram, who is bench depth as my 5th WR, for someone with more upside. The only problem was that the three WR available who looked like decent grabs (Colston, Northcutt, and Cotchery) were all claimed. I suppose I could stow him on the bench for a couple weeks and see how it shakes out.

I can not believe they gave up a 1st round pick for Branch. He has never had over 1000 yards or more than 5tds in a season.

That's what I was thinking. I won't say Branch is without skill, but I will say what has this guy ever really done? I don't think he's worth a 1st round pick.
