From Rotoworld.com
Corey Dillon is saying he will retire.
There was a good chance Dillon was going to be asked to take a paycut or be released, but it never got that far. Dillon left the door slightly open for possibly returning to another team in the future, but said, "I don’t need to play." Dillon was one of the fiercest runners in the NFL between 1997-2002 in Cincinnati, but ran for a career high 1,635 yards during New England's 2004 Super Bowl run. 14th in league history in rushing yards, he has an outside shot at the Hall of Fame. Laurence Maroney will take over New England's primary running back duties.
