Gore has broken a bone in his hand and will need to miss at least some degree of action for a few weeks, ESPN reports. The injury is not thought to be too serious, though Gore will need a cast for his hand, which could sideline him for the first preseason game or two (though he may be able to participate to some degree in practices). For now, he's expected to be OK for the regular season.
