I don't agree with Tree about much. However, I am in total agreement about Jack Tatum. An Ohio State legend. One of the great old school headhunters. I have his rookie card on my desk. It sits behind a Mia Hamm rookie card. If someone's giving me a hard time, I'll move him in front and let him glare at them.
This card is a classic.
Whenever we played sandlot football in Ohio in the 70's; whoever played safety was Jack Tatum. There were no other safeties, as far as we were concerned. Jack Tatum, George Carlin, Damn, I'm getting old.

I heard snippits of an interview that Steve Grogan did, must be after he learned of his death. Did not think much of the man Jack Tatum. Will try to find it.
