Sad...was a fan of his when I lived in San Diego. He was such a visible presence and spokesman in the community. Wonder if it was similar to Dave Duerson?...concussion/CTE problems.

Haven't had a chance to talk to the son yet, but did get a couple of texts from him.
He's taking it really, really hard. Surfed with Seau and spent time at the house.
Completely senseless.
Having a tough day as a Charger fan and knowing what he did for the communities of San Diego and Oceanside.
