- Though it hasn't officially been confirmed yet, Hulk Hogan has reportedly signed a deal with NWA-TNA to work the PPV scheduled for November 30. The special three-hour PPV is set to be headlined by Hogan taking on Jeff Jarrett.

AND
As Rajah reported, Hogan is slated has headlining the 11/30 TNA show. We now know that TNA will present an all out three hour pay-per-view on on that day, which is a Sunday, and will not take place from the Fairgrounds in Nashville. The show will be headlined with Hulk Hogan vs. Jeff Jarrett. Also, it appears that no deal has been finalized, but Hulk Hogan’s lawyer, Henry Holmes, had agreed verbally to terms on Tuesday with Jerry Jarrett. The two sides have been negotiating since 9/12.
First thing I have to say is I thought Hogan and Russo hated each other - and Hogan/Jarrett was a big reason why -... let the discussion begin... |

this is very interesting - it was the Hogan/Jarrett/Russo situation in the first place that led to Hogan departing WCW....

MITH - I put this in here so we don't clutter up the Rosters thread...
You bring up a very good point - here is my reasoning - I hope you are right and he does show up - but I made that decision based on # of guys on each show. I have so many guys from Smackdown - and all are cruiserweights (except Rhyno) - they are all fighting for a limited amount of airtime.
I believe that to be my main problem right now and is why I need to make some trades (anyone with an offer?).
Does that make any sense?
What I am trying to say is I think Richards has a better chance of at least showing up on Raw and jobbing to someone OR helping Victoria etc... - then me taking a chance that Ultimo might show in the one or two matches he could possibly be involved in...
He has been in the house shows for a while and has yet to show, so I don't think specifically this week will be his return to action by any means. I am just happy he is still active and involved and if he does show up - then hopefully I can stick him in for the next month or so if he gets in a fued.
I hope he follows a similar path as Tajiri who was essentially left for dead (sunday night heat) and then Chavo got hurt and he has been on a roll ever since. Whoever has him can attest to Tajiri being their biggest surprise I am sure...

Great One, This league, more so than any sport that I play fantasy games in is a total crapshoot. There simply is not the direct correlation between ability and 'playing' time.
In this case, I guess it's just a matter of choosing between very limted but fairly dependable points and much greater potential that is less likely to surface. My critique in that other thread makes no more sense than your reasons for who you start here. Best of luck.

YES!!! I can't wait to stage LowKi vs. AJ vs. Sabin vs. Shane vs. London vs. Lynn vs. Syxx Pac vs. Shark Boy vs. Amazing Red vs. Kash... I could go on and on... and maybe some bloody Raven/Vampiro/Sandman/Douglas matches with weapons and blood oh my!... oh yeah...

And of course as it turned out, you were right in starting Pinky over Ultimo.

Great One - while it's not graphic and pretty much all text based, have you ever played Total Extreme Warfare?
it's a fairly complex game where you're the booker of a fed, and you hire and fire wrestlers and steal guy's who's contracts are about to be up and book matches and you're competing with tons of other feds - you can be any number of feds, from backyard groups like Hardcore Extreme Psycho Wrestling to midlevel groups like NWA Wildside to more national groups like NWATNA or Ring of Honor or MLW to being Global like the WWE.
i started out with NWATNA and have slowly built the company up. right now my top wrestlers are Raven, Jarrett, Paul London, Kid Kash, EZ Money, RVD, AJ Styles, and Mase (from the Christopher St. Connection - he got so popular with the fans he eventually rose from a lower-midcard tag team face to my organizations top singles heel!)
it's a lot of fun, but takes a loooooooooooooooooooong time to play (basically, it never ends unless you bankrupt the company)...
ok, i'm a geek.
