Subject: Season 3 (with Raw 3/15 Spoiler)

stop reading if you haven't seen it yet.

Looks like we need to postpone our draft. And even our keepers. If they are gonna redraft wrestlers we need to wait to see who is going where. All in favor?

Im fine with whatever the group decides, but I dont really se the reason to postpone it. I certainly wouldn't want to score a lottery, but that week wasn't going to count anyways. I really think the top talent will stay the top talent.

I guess a guy like DeVon could lose a lot of value if he parts ways with Bubba. Like I said Im fine with what the league decides.

I think we should at least wait til after Monday night before setting keepers just incase someone doesn't like where a guy lands. I guess once Monday night passes things should be set and we could set keepers quick and start Tuesday night or Wednesday and still have plenty of time.

well, it's gonna take me a bit of time to sort through things. i haven't had the time to look at what you sent me farn. in fact, i'm off to bed in a couple. i'm suffering from a serious lack of sleep from my wrestling weekend.

i'm not watching raw, but i heard rumours of a redraft for Raw and Smackdown...is that what they're doing?

Yes Tree.

My biggest keeper concern isn't the draft; it's the current points/standings.

Mike D, your points going into tonight. Does that make it real clear for you?

591 for HHH
883 for RVD

(883 seems like a lot but I don't think the sheet has an error)

Tree- really you just need to fix it so that Benoit, Shane, Gail Kim, Zach Gowan, and a few of the last FA's all tally up and move to the "current week" tab.

Thanks Farn, but I meant the whole roster, the entire league standings, etc, from the standpoint of determining draft position and keepers/etc.......aw, who am I kidding, I don't even understand the formula. ;)

hahaha. sorry Mike D, I am too lazy to post all that. Tree really only needs to fix a few things, probably less than 10 mins work. And then he should be able to post up to date standings immediately.

haha.

I will assume that was directed at Mike D. Trust me, I know that sheet is a pain in the arse. You don't need to let me know that at all.

I say to bring interest into the draft, we have to still announce keepers before the redraft. It seems like new storylines could develop.

i didn't watch Raw last night, but i read about it on the WWE homepage, and i don't like the fact that someone like Benoit or Guerrero could lose their title - in fact, i'd probably stop watching the WWE forever if that was the case, as those are two of my favorite wrestlers of the last 10 years.

how it all relates to us is that i think we need to wait until the re-draft to choose keepers and to have our own draft. The dudleyz are useless without each other, as we've already seen. that's a perfect example.

i believe we'll probably see RVD and Booker T split up. and i think Brian Lawler may be back, so we might see something happen with scotty and rikishi.

so, how did molly holly look? was she wearing a wig or anything?

Yes, but it got knocked off, and she barely even had any stubble. There were "egghead" signs and people laughing at her, so she left during the tag match........I'd love to see her take a Luna Vachon role, but I can't see it happening.....

Doesn't really concern me, I think my keepers are my keepers right now, and I know who I am taking number 1.

We should draft right along with the lottery I think.

Great One- who are you taking. HHH isn't available and Brock is gone. Should be an interesting Round 1.

I am sure he is taking who ever i lose. Orton or Benoit would both be pretty solid picks.

Orton's intriguing... but you are actually incorrect. I am taking a surprise number 1.

ohh... the intrigue and suspense.

Start up the pool and take some bets on who it will be. And I already mentioned it to Mike D - so he doesn't count.

I think after the last time the WWE split up tag teams, and just put them back together, you wont see "solid" tag teams ripped apart. You might see RVD and Booker taken apart, but I doubt you see TWGTT or Dudleyz taken apart.

Evolution I believe will partially be taken apart. I think Randy Orton might make the move to Smackdown and the rest of Evolution will be on Raw. Orton is the type of huge heel that Smackdown could use.

I also think some of the cruiserweight's will make their way on Raw. Hopefully this includes SUPERSTAR Billy Kidman.

And what about the Hurricane? The guy is great, yet I rarely see him anymore.

I still think we should have to announce our keepers before the redraft. It's just like having keepers in the NFL. You don't say, well, I want to wait till training camp is over because someone might get traded or hurt.

The original rules had us doing the draft before next weeks Raw, right? Why not keep those rules, and then pay the piper if something crazy does happen?

I think TWGTT might actually benefit from a split - or at least one of them.

Actually, I wasn't implyng that one is likely to be pushed over the other. They both loook like good talents who can carry a promo and they're both obviously solid workers. Shelton obviously has a much better look, but I think much could be done with Haas, too.

Neither one is much on the mic though. Great skills, as evidenced on smackdown.
