.....and three more today! According to Rajah we can now say goodbye to Gail Kim, Chuck Palumbo and Nidia.
What's the deal with WWE lately? Have they finally come to their senses?

Gail Kim had no use, and I didn't find her sexy at all. Same can be said for Nidia.
Just the other day, I saw Palumbo face Benoit on one of the lower end shows. He actually didn't look too bad.

Gail Kim actually could wrestle. I guess that was her downfall.

I never understood why Nidia won TE to begin with. That's the year they took 2 girls (along with Shaniqua) IIRC.

Rodney Mack, Johnny Stamboli, and Jazz to the list.
WWE is going nuts cleaning house.

Hilarious that Nidia got a PPV angle and actually scored some points.
KEV -- YOU DON'T FIND GAIL SEXY?!?!?? Obviously our definitions are WAY off or you have a thing against Asian women........or I have a BIG TIME thing for Asian women - one or the other! ;-) Damn she's hot.

i would not be surprised to see Gail Kim begin to show up in the indies in IWA-MS, and early next year, Ring of Honor.
IWA-MS has a solid women's division (one of the women is named Mickie Knuckles, and i get immense glee that that is actually her REAL name), and Ring of Honor is looking to become active as well.
there are a lot of decent women's workers out there. the aforementioned Knuckles, Daizee Haze (needs to eat a sandwich, but can work), Tracy Brooks, Rain, Lacey, Angel Williams, Mercedes Martinez, Allison Danger, MsChif, and many others.
on a not exactly related note, Daizee, Tracy, Lacey, Angel, (and Becky Bayless, the hottest valet in the business), all got dressed and ready for the last Ring of Honor Show in Dayton a few weeks ago, in my hotel room.
sadly, i was already at the venue. :o(

Looks like WWE is cleaning house big time. I can't remember a time at all when this has ever happened.
In the meantime, I think I'll just sit back for a bit until they finish up whatever they're doing. Any reason why they just didn't let all these people go at once? Why spread it out over a few days? Working there now is probably akin to walking on egg shells. Looks as if all the lower fourth of the roster is at risk.

They may be waiting until they actually can communicate it face to face or verbally, rather than via message, or letter.

Ok, let me get this right. The WWE has trained, used and re-used these individuals time and time again and now they fire them because they make too much money--money that WWE offered them in the first place? Secondly, if financial constraints were such a big issue, why in the world would WWE promote a Diva Challenge and give away $250K to some unknown and apparently untalented diva? Hypocrisy, thy name is Vince!

Ok, last rant for a while. With the dismantling of such a big portion of the Heat/Velocity superstars, will those shows even continue to exist?
Will HHH be satisfied appearing on one of those shows? Furthermore, are we looking at the beginning of the end of the roster split?

I disagree Bond. Just because they made bad investments once upon a time doesn't mean they have to keep them. It's like playing Derek Bell just because you're paying him 5 million bucks. It's a sunk cost.
I'd think $250K is chump change to them. It was a stunt for publicity and well worth the cash. Just like McDonalds doesn't mind giving away a Best Buy stereo every once in a while.

After Rhyno's recent actions, yea.
Matt Hardy is a surprise, but his career will blossom now, if he even chooses to wrestle. he's managed his money well.
i talked to Molly a few weeks ago. she mentioned that a lot of wrestlers were concerned, and she said that if they announce another Diva Search, she wouldn't be surprised to be wrestling in japan or indies in 90 days. lo and behold...

Jesus and Chilly Willy let go as well.
God, I remember this original post, its when my season went to hell quick. Hardy was "supposed to be back" by this point and then they said he was out longer then I lost Gail Kim, Stamboli, Jazz, Mack all at once haha...
At least the Hardy Boyz will be reunited in TNA most likely now. But trading for him was a complete disaster.
