Anyone watching this? Love this show - of course Wentworth Miller makes it ever so easy to watch. ;-)

However, now we have to wait until March?!?!?! - sigh. I hate television.

Yeah, but March is better then May, which is what they were saying prior to last night. Great show... and I don't have the same impression you do of Wentworth Miller :-).

This show is a nice counter balance to 'Las Vegas' ... which comes on at the same time.

Prison Break is a dark drama with occasional violence and blood, while Las Vegas is a happy-go-lucky show with lots of pretty people.

I opt for the dark violent drama. Does that say anything about my personality>

I LOVE this show, love it love it. It's so good because it's one of those shows I didn't expect to be good. I figured I'd watch it for two episodes tops. I'm hooked.

I don't see the attraction to Wentworth Miller and I am secure enough in my strong heterosexuality to proclaim certain guys are conceivably attractive. Perhaps all the tattoos? I knew chicks dug tattoos and bad guys. :)

If I had to pick one it would be his brother on death row.

That is one heckuva tattoo. I wonder how makeup handles that?

Why are we waiting until March?

I question the shows staying power beyond the March run, but I'd prefer it to end at the top of it's game than to fizzle away.

The president got drunk and pardoned every inmate in that prison. The prisoners had a big party with the guards as KC and the Sunshine Band played in the background.

The apparent reason for waiting until March (originally May) was that Prison Break plays in the same time slot as 24. 24 returns in January with episodes every week, no reruns. That explains... um... some of it. What about December? You got me. Mid January through May? That's less then 24 in a row. How about... HYPE.

Prison Break was originally supposed to just be a fill-in show for 24, and that it would wrap with a couple episodes in May.

but the ratings, and acclaim, were so strong, that they're bringing it back early, and extending the run.

and a lot of girls fell in love with wentworth miller before this show - when he was in mariah carey's video.

I used to like it a lot more but it's getting a little too unrealistic. Also, I could care less about any of the main characters. The only one with any charisma is/was Abruzzi. Nothing would make me happier than seeing Veronica and LJ bite it. Could that kiss between Veronica and Lincoln seem anymore out of place?

I still like it, but it IS getting way too far fetched. Would they really leave lincoln alone like that in the infirmary just a couple hours before the execution? I also agree about the kiss, there's no way they leave her alone in the cell with him.

last night was amazing...

1. we learned why Linc was set up.
2. we received confirmation that the mystery man was indeed his father.
3. we know why Tweener is in jail, and part of why he's having a REALLY hard time.
4. we saw the return of Abruzzi
5. we now know who Abruzzi's money man on the outside is (Nick?!?! WTF?!?!! he is in this deeeep)
6. Sara now knows for sure that Michael is up to something...

and a bunch of other things...

and quite frankly - i'm not sure that Bellick really knows. i feel like Michael might have fed Tweener some false info, to see if he'd go to Bellick with it.

Tree: I thought that too about the escape, but why would you tell teh security guard you are planning an escape, and then let him find the hole? Seems to me they would separate them and throw them in the hole. Obviously something's going to happen as Michael is being forced to tell Sara they're escaping and asking her to help this week. Obviously she is as they are going to escape...FINALLY!

And they still haven't escaped!

But all of that planning and then he turns out to simply turing a knife on the warden? That is lame! Part of the fun was seeing everyone's expression when they found out they were all missing!

The lawyer double-cross was not expected at all. I expected that long long ago, but came to realize he was actually a good guy. I did expect the "born-again christian" abruzzi to have something going and would ultimately get rid of a couple guys.

I've said this before, but they need to break out already and be on the lamb and show episodes like that now. They keep dragging this out. This is not going to be good if they break out on the final show and then let it hold over until next season!

One-handed freak - he's gonna live.

Crazy guy on bike - hmm, well he'll probably end up in Blackfoot. ;-)

i think the point of St. Louis was to say that he's going far, and may just well get away.

I was very disappointed in the ending. There are 5 guys running through a field with a million cops right behind them. There is no way they realistically get away. The kid looks like he has the best chance, but let's be honest here, the main characters are trapped. I figured they'd get on the plane and the show would end. Knowing the plane's wing numbers were known they'd have to do a DB Cooper or something and parachute out or what have you. But NOOOOOOOO. This show could be so good, but at times there are too many twists and turns. Frustrating to watch at times. I've got so much time into it though, I gotta see it. Wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have to wait like 3 months once already.

i was thinking about this, and it's actually pretty simple. the terrain gets a bit too rough for normal cop cars, and the chase ensues on foot.

then, from out of nowhere in a sweet 4WD ride, comes Linc and Michael's dad, who is obviously following this entire thing closely, rescuing the crew.

i think their Dad is the wild card we're all discounting...

Prison Break returns tonight.

The guy who plays T-Bag was on Regis & Kelly this morning. He is nothing like T-Bag thank God. The character voice he does is made up. He actually taught himself how to talk that way for this part. In case anyone is curious he is not gay and if he is, it's not openly gay. He's married with two kids. They surprised him with a picture of his 4 year old son and he actually got all teary eyed.

They originally wanted T-Bag to be some 240 behemoth, but then this guy went into the auditions and blew him away.

He also admitted to not knowing what a "T-Bag" was until he took the part. The reference was lost on Regis, but Kelly seemed to know what was up.

LOL!

I can't wait. Prison Break and 24 back to back is the best night of the week. When you add that to AI, Fox has some of the best shows on TV. Fox has come a long way in a relatively short period when you think about how long there were only three networks.

The previews have him turning himself in tonight. I'm trying to figure out how that must be a ploy or something. Obviously they aren't going to get to South America or wherever and end up happily ever after or anything, but I would like them to eventually evade the police and have to constantly be on the lookout and have to keep moving. Obviously they haven't had one day to "settle" anywhere to try and figure anything out. He may just be trying to trun himself in to save the doctor. We shall see.

I'll actually get most of it watched tonight by 11 or so. I can watch How I met at 8:00 then swith to Prison Break and catch up with that as I skip all the commercials, then switch back to the class etc. and by skipping all the 4 min commercials and end show stuff, there will prob be just one show tonight I don't get to see. I love Dish Netwrok's Dual DVR. Wouldn't trade it.

I still watch Prison Break week in and week out. It's funny you bring up Lost in the same breath as Prison Break. I think both shows are outstanding, yet they share the same problem.

It seems to me that things are being dragged on because the shows got to be much more popular than what the original creators thought they'd be. I love the concept of both shows but just how long can they keep at it?

I think Mahone has been a pretty good addition to the cast. I just wonder how long the writers can keep Scofield on the run without making the show stale.

from the beginning, it was said Lost was to be about 5 seasons, Prison Break about 3. i bet those stick.

although, honestly, Prison Break does have a lot of possibilities, because after Linc and Michael are exonerated, they can go do battle with The Company!!!

83: I've been trying to figure that out too.

84-85: Agreed

Knew they wouldn't get pardons. It's Prison Break afterall. They still need to release that tape!

How did they know that they were going to end up in Panama? Did they want to lead them there? Sona came up before Mahone found out about Panama.

Anyone else catch at the end that weirdo guy walked into a science lab and his coworker made the comment like, "You know Scofield is going to break out. It's in his blood."

Looks like the series could take an interesting turn.

Yeah I don't get that at all. SONA is crap. The whole situation is crap. Several things were very good about the finale, the the prison spin in SONA was just weird. I kept wanting them to sail away and someone come after them after they got a head start or something. I don't know.

I think I need to re-watch the last 7-8 episodes to have a better idea what that was all about. I think season 3 is going to be crazy interesting!

I'm just not sure I can stand watching one episode (with commercials!) at a time though. I only caught on to Prison Break when all of Season 1 was done and they were at episode 16 of Season 2, so I downloaded all the eps and watched them in a row. I've only been watching PB for about two weeks now. :) How do you 1-ep per week guys/gals do it?

I liked this season better than last by far. Just hated the last part of the finale. It's so unrealistic that the other unrealistic stuff is forgotten. Maybe that's the plan.

not sure why the end is so unrealistic to some of you...

prisons in third word countries don't exactly have a reputation for being country clubs - anyone seen Midnight Express?

and that end scene - of a brutally beaten (and probably raped) Bellick on the floor in front of that muscular inmate - was something awful...

Tree, I think Ref was saying all of them ending up in the prison together as being the unrealistic part.

i'm no expert on the penal system in third world nations, but again, i don't think it's any more farfetched that a bunch of murdering foreigners end up in the same brutal prison any more than it is a half-dozen guys breaking out of the same prison and still being on the run 3 months later.

Why exactly did Scofield plant the drugs on the boat? That seems really out of his character to set somebody up for a crime they didn't committ. If he had the money to buy the drugs he surely had the money to tell Panama drug guys to back him up when he went to get Linc.

Why exactly did Scofield plant the drugs on the boat?

to get Mahone out of his hair for good. he figured if Mahone was tossed in some Central American prison for a decade, he wouldn't have to worry about him...

Yeah they will pair up in prison and on to another prison break. Of course, that's exactly what the Powers That Be want. All next year will be focused on breaking out. While I liked that in the first year, surely they can break out sooner than a year and start running again.

Well, obviously the show is not coming back. Wasn't expecting Michael being dead. They fixed his health issue--so I really don't get it.

I actually liked the ending. The happy ending was Micheal and Sarah holding hands on the beach with their son in between them. That would have been a bit too cliche for me. I would say it ended the way the Schofield character would have wanted it to, all his friends/family living life the way he would have wanted them to.

For a series that really had no business being on the air after the first season it kept me pretty entertained for 4 seasons.

My issue was that he was supposedly healed. His mother lived for many many years after the procedure. Yet he died right after they were all exonerated and we don't know why. Would have made more sense if there was a hint somewhere that he was having reoccurring issues or that shot by his mother made him critical or something.
