I've used priceline myself to get some great deals.
Just got back from a Chicago trip--my client used www.hotels.com to book my flight and hotel. Looks like it saved them a couple of hundred bucks off the posted fare/price.

www.kayak.com is a useful one for comparing across sites. Another is www.farecompare.com for looking at travel if you're not sold on a particular destination.

Thanks guys...
I ended up getting a super discounted last minute flight off of Expedia.
Its crazy how much of a difference there can be for the exact same travel flight between different airlines and websites...
