well, i wouldn't go THAT far, but he sure was a fantastic guitar player who really took the fight to cancer, battling it for 40 years before finally succumbing.

Nah, I think Angel Eyes is definitely one of THE best love songs ever written. I really used to have a soft spot in my heart for that song. Then I discovered Pearl Jam, but for a brief shining moment, I really enjoyed listening to that song.
It really tugged at the heart strings when I read about it in a taxi cab.
