I'm having an issue when I want to create a video with my Webcam it is getting an error and saying it has a problem with the HVideoS Com Server. Anyone have any past experience with this type of problem, looks like the hvideos2.exe file that is having the problem. |

My camera seems to install fine; I have picture and audio. However, when I go to Quick Capture, I get a message that states:
HVideoS2.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program.
Have I overlooked something?

I just gave up on caring about it and haven't actually used the program since. But I would be interested if someone knows how to fix it.

you are not alone! i too have a logitech quickcam that takes pics fine but when you try to record a video has a problem with the hvideos com server thing
and so far, no one has a cure!
