Brian Leetch skated on his own the last two days, according to the New York Daily News. However, he said he doubts he will be ready to play by next Thursday's home opener, as had been reported. "I guess, realistically, if I'm playing games in October, that'd be great," said Leetch. "I'm still a few weeks away." Leetch is recovering from a bruised ankle tendon.

Wally, Fluery is suspended for 6 months.
Assuming he does get back from his Betty Ford Clinic, most teams wouldn't want to deal with his antics.
Plus Fluery has a $$$$ contract to pick up... most teams wouldn’t want to pick up his contract.
As to Leetch, he will return but will probably share time with Poti.
