TSNP Calculator

Bookmark it for now because I won't be adding it to the menu until NHL.com gets their stats situation sorted out. For instance, MON @ OTT currently has no stats because NHL.com's Off. Scoresheet says the game hasn't started yet. UGH!

Time to revive an old thread.

Should be live now. I know of one oustanding issue with the MON/TOR game last night (missing player's name), but let me know of anything else that might be out of whack.

Is there a boxscore that has all the TSNP opportunities listed? I'm not saying it has the TSNPs listed, but the "way" TSNPs occur, mostly interested in 'Game Winning Goals'.

RSF, currently, no. I can look into what it would take to do that, but am not sure it will happen any time soon. At a minimum, I suppose I could put a link to the game boxscores...

No, I wasn't meaning to ask you for more work. I was contemplating making an "Enhanced Boxscores" utility for Hockey, but wasn't seeing any boxes with the GWG specifically listed as a boxscore item.

Thanks for the hard work as usual!

LOL! Sorry for the implication. The only way I get GWG is to "look" at the score and then find out who scored the GWG. For instance, when I parse the CAR/WAS game, I know that the final score is 5-2. From that, I can programatically "know" that the GWG was the 3rd goal for WAS. When I parse the goals, I find that Ovechkin had WAS's 3rd goal and award him the GWG.

Not sure if this would work for what you're looking for, but figured I'd lay out how I get it.

Hits and Shootout Goals (for Skaters and Goalies) have been added. Unfortunately, I have no data for Shootout Misses (for Skaters and Goalies), so those points cannot be taken into account.

Nice work KKB. Makes me almost feel bad that my Hogs got the better of the Tigers this weekend...but just almost.

Beezer, my girlfriend and I took a road trip down to Auburn for the game. I was, of course, a bit disappointed in the outcome of the game, but it was great seeing Auburn, the city and the team, play again. This Virginia football has nothing on the SEC. :)

Beezer - Arkansas is gonna have to try pretty hard not to win the West! Their tough games (LSU, UT) are at home. Even if they lose both, they've essesntially got a 2gm lead already!

I'm a big Auburn fan this week though :)

I'll admit, "Miracle Mitch" works almost as well as "Miracle Matt", but I have a feeling they're going to drop a game they shouldn't along the way.

KKB, this stuff they play in the ACC north of Florida barely qualifies as "football". And as J can attest, even including Florida doesn't help this year. Fear not ACC fans, only a few days until basketball practice starts!
