Subject: ATTN TSN: Incorrect PIMs

It appears as though PIMs are not always being calculated correctly. After a quick comparision of TSNP between NHL.com and TSN, I found the following 2 discrepancies:

Todd Simpson, D, ANA: (10/09)
TSN: 10 PIM
NHL: 15 PIM (Game Misconduct and Fighting)

Marty Turco, G, DAL: (10/11)
TSN: 8 PIM
NHL: 10 PIM (Roughing, Slashing, Leave Crease, Roughing, Roughing)

Now admittedly, I'm not sure about Turco's 2 roughing calls at the end of the game, but if it was a double-minor, then this goes back to a long-standing issue with TSN not correctly totaling double-minor penalties.

TSN, please look into this.

      Sun, Oct 12, 2003, 12:45 		As KWizard pointed out on the TSN boards, Bill Guerin also has incorrect PIMs for 10/11.

TSN: 6 PIM
NHL: 8 PIM (Slashing, High Stick, High Stick, High Stick)

This one is definitely an error regarding a double-minor penalty as the last 2 penalties were both incurred at 16:55 in the 3rd.

TSN, it's time to point this error out to your stats source.
