On any given day, is there a way to know whether a team will use its starting or backup goalie? For leagues with daily lineups, it would be nice not to play a certain goalie, just to have his backup play instead.
Any good sources for this information?

Rotowire has information on this if you're willing to pay for it. Another good source is to look at sites that offer online betting for hockey, often times they have the goalies listed somewhere.
