The first guy has been playing in Europe most of his career, and just isn't that good. The second guy was LA's 2nd round pick in 2002. Might turn into something, but who knows.
Probably a cost-cutting move so that they can keep Fleury up all year. Not like Straka was doing much for them anyway.
What's LA thinking though? ANOTHER injury-prone player? ;) Seriously, if LA ever gets all its players back at the same time, they're going to have one heck of a team.
