Brian Boucher has now officially set the "Modern Day" record for consecutive shutout minutes, passing Bill Dunham's 309:29. The all-time record is still some 152 minutes away at 461:29.

Another modern-day record with 5 straight shutout games for Boucher. Absolutely unbelieveable.

On Sportsnet they said he had been put on waivers in October. Unreal.

KKB, you meant Bill Durnan, right? (canada.com has the previous record as 309:21.)

Let's hear it for the boy from Woonsocket, Rhode Island ... which is not in Canada.
:-)

Man...from 3rd string goalie for a bad team to shutout record. Amazing.

"The goal ends Boucher's streak of five straight shutouts. The 27-year-old goalie had gone 332:01 minutes without giving up a goal."

And now the end of the bench is his:

Sean Burke - G - Phoenix Coyotes Jan 15

Sean Burke will be back in goal tonight against the Predators, reports the Arizona Republic.
Well Burke enjoyed quite the two-week holiday courtesy of the white hot Brian Boucher. Look for Burke to play 60% of the time from here on in. Of course the Coyotes could trade Burke at any time to a contender, which would increase both his, and Boucher's fantasy value.
