Nothing here
Maybe Hejduk tommorrow Illya as well.
Sakic stays, I'll eat all losses, there aren't enough Cs.
I'm very happy with my situation now, I've gained tons in the trade race by skipping out on STL. I'm back in the commanding position I want to be in. If I play my cards right, I'll win.

Kovalchuk >> Morozov and then probably back to Kovalchuk on the 24th. Also considering the red hot Korolyuk.
Hejduk >> Satan later this week unless Forsberg gets back in which case I'll just hold him til the end of the season.

I heard Schneider was out with a groin injury. Fedorov apparently didn't want to wait while they picked up all the hats off the ice. I don't have him on any of my teams but if I did I'd be pissed he was trying to pass the puck and get one of his teammates a goal instead of shooting at the empty net.

Good thing I held out on that rotation, J. Not sure what I'm doing about Foppa tommorrow. The schedules for my players don't really fit well for this move besides Iginla, and I gain nothing, in reality....just games from Foppa over anyone else, which is probably better. Love Morozov's matchup against the Rangers again tommorrow, gonna take a lot of convincing for me to trade him.

i also went Naslund (holding him killed me!)-->Iginla, which kinda sucks because Rogue has him, but I thought he was the best option and didn't want to lose anymore ground there.
How do you give up 4 goals on 12 shots to Anaheim?????????? Damn you Legace!!! (he said "there was nothing I can do"!!!!)

I have successfully held trades this week. Held ground with the leaders and now I have a 5 to 1 or 5 to 0 on every owner who still has a shot at this.
I'm leaning towads a wing rotation out of 1 slot with my extra trades. Sort of a guru-rotation type of deal. I think I'd be better at that than a goalie rotation....

I really wanted Ilya too, but didnt really have a spot for him, then I saw he's got a b2b with Fla & NJ, two pretty good goalies. And, since Rogue has Heatley, I'll just hope the Thrashers get a better draft pick for the last few games :)

Today's dilemma.. My wings are St. Louis, Illya, Iginla, Shanny... I must get Forsberg and I'm also thinking of getting Tkachuk.... To get both, I'd have to sell.. Iggy and Shanny.. both play today, but I may just have to do it...

bookie, I changed my mind, and am going to hold Iginla instead of moving to Tkachuk now. I'll move him to Keith for the b2b with Chicago. Rationale:
Iginla scores more goals. SJ is very inconsistent right now. Anaheim is playing halfway decent lately. What if Tkachuk gets hurt tonight?

I'm in a similar predicament Bookie. In order for me to pick up both Forsberg and Tkachuk, I would be forced to move Iggy, Shanahan, and Guerin and probably counter with Forsberg, Tkachuk and Havlat.
3 trades for 2 guys I really want. (Guerin was a definate sell. Iggy plays a tough team and they are now in a 2 in 6 scenario)

very valid points walk, especially the point of iggy's goal scoring ability and the potential for an injury.. However, I have a few more trades to play with and think I'll still make the move.. i've already gone Shanny -> Forsberg. So all that's left is do I or don't I do the Iggy -> tkachuk move... It's 75% likely at this point...

Taking a bit of a risk today:
Iginla --> Satan
Buffalo has a b2b against Pittsburgh (although Pitt is 8-1-1 in their last 10) and then CBJ and my pathetic (St)Rangers. I am hoping he gets 1 or more of his huge games during this stretch. Ranked around 225, I feel this type of move is necessary.
I'll also move Ilya tomorrow, even though he plays, to Tkachuk as I like Tkachuk against Chicago better than Atlanta against Luongo.

And me, and Vokoun, a sure bet as far as bookie and I were concerned, can take a hike. Blowing a 2-0 lead at home to Columbus? Unreal. Nashville is clearly go to blow their shot at the playoffs. Edmonton is hot and they are cold. Teaches me a lesson in acquiring a player from Nahsville down the stretch -- I guess they did beat my rangers the other night. Not hard to do (then again, somehow, the rangers and a journeyman goalie beat the flyers in philly yesterday). Hockey is so unpredictable!

Vokoun --> Brodeur
Brodeur will surely start at home today against the Isles and then against the rangers, given that he had the night off on Friday.
My mini goalie rotation has been pretty unsuccessful. And Satan, to whom many have turned, has not done much. I guess I have to hold for his next two against CBJ and NYR, but it's difficult to do so.
I like Sakic and Forsberg at home against LA tomorrow -- hopefully, they snap out of the Detroit funk.

What with the top teams being so mediocre lately, the Legace/Cujo uncertainty, the Turco suspension, and now the Lalime/Prusek situation, and the usual end-of-regular season uncertainty of top goalies given rest for the playoffs, I think I'm having the most trouble picking a goalie I've ever had playing this game.
I'm almost ready to pick up Thibault for the hell of it, even though I can't imagine they'd play him on both days of a meaningless back to back his first 2 days back from injury. Talk about differentiation! :)
In the end I think I'm going to go with Osgood. Lots of games and I'm thinking he'll probably play most of them, since the Blues' playoffs are still not guaranteed.

He has one more game to go for me against the rangers, and then it's back to St. Louis. Ultimately, as far as buffalo is concerned, it's moot, as they are winning and making a run at the Isles. What makes the 0-4 Satan pick even worse is that I did in fact consider Hecht instead, but I said, "naaaaaaaaa." Aaargh.

Very cool, SW! You are down by 100 TSN points and have 3 trades in hand. I'd be bettin' on you all the way, dude. Biron paid off beautifully, and Forsberg finally scored some points last night. Kudos -- keep on goin', man. Your success is our success.

I'll probably move Sakic/Forsberg after their CBJ game to grab two guys who play B2B to finish the year. My current roster all plays the last day of the year, so any unused trades come that day would be wasted.
I went Luongo -> Osgood on teams that didn't have him, and into Vokoun on the one that already did.

For the Oilers and my TSN teams fortunes, I'm hoping this trend continues.
2004-02-11 Nas 2 Chi 5 2003-10-19 Nas 1 Chi 3 2003-03-27 Nas 1 Chi 4 2003-01-12 Nas 0 Chi 2 2002-11-17 Nas 2 Chi 4
I went A-Ray hoping that the Cat does not get a start tonight.

Probably too late to help you now, but with only one trade I would hold Thornton for today and see what his status is tomorrow. If he is out, then I would move him to Elias.

the guy chasing me has Elias... I'd feel like a d!ck if I blatantly blocked him, but I guess if its an obvious move (and he will be a leading gainer) its not too unfair.
sounds good...
