Scott Stevens and Vincent Damphousse both call it quits.

The year off probably will take its toll on the older guys.

A lot of guys don't think they can live without it until they're forced to. In this instance, it's good that they weren't forced to because of injury or not making the squad (*cough*Rice*cough*).
