Post them if you want to...
Selling at some point this week: Heatley Spezza Selanne
Still not sure on the exact day or who I want yet. |

Sens' effort last night definitely made it difficult for me to pull the trigger on Heatley --> Gagne and Spezza --> Forsberg today as originally planned... Too bad that's practically the only way to fit those Flyers in in time for their bout against the Caps today. Hmmm... Might get Gagne as that's where the money is and leave Spezza be for a couple more matches.

Legace -> Os-hopehesreal-good
Spezza -> Forsberg Heatley -> Gagne
No date on those yet. As great as Forberg and Gagne have been as a combination, Heatley-Spezza-Alfredsson looks like the second coming of Lemieux-Francis-Jagr.

Heatley -> Ovechkin Selanne -> Gagne
Sticking to the plan. C'mon, it's the Flyers vs the Caps for crying out loud! Ovechkin will still get his 50pts or so but Philly might put up 10 goals of their own tonight against that awful defense.

Team A: Chouinard > Forsberg (today) Heatley > Gagne (TBD) Spezza > Sakic/Staal/Lecavalier/Crosby (TBD)
Team B: Heatley > Gagne (TBD) Spezza > Sakic/Staal/Lecavalier/Crosby (TBD)
Prospal is on both teams; he's on the bubble for someone else like Tanguay/Hejduk/Ovechkin if TB slumps.

No move for me, even if this means getting hit money wise, I can't convinced myself of selling someone who's playing tonight... I'll wait until tomorrow morning to sell my Sens guys... I don't see why you would go to Ovechkin tonight from Heatly, I would skip tonight and sell Heatly for Ovechkin tomorrow morning....

Holding off until Saturday to trade out of Spezza & Alfie. After last night it's hard to justify trading until Sat. I'm in the free league and only have 2 trades from this week so the longer I hold off the better.

Was going to go
Spezza > Forsberg Heatley > Gagne
today, but after last night (in fact, after the last 3 games) I'm going to hold until tomorrow. TB is for sure harder than WAS but Grahame wasn't exactly stellar in the last game, allowing 5 goals on 28 shots. Looking for this trio to continue their brutalizing of goalies in the new NHL.

Really, Really hoping I can hold off on him till after his Saturday game. That way I can go Hasek->Legace.
The others are gone tonight after the games

Lightening doesn't often strike twice, you might see 100pts in total from Ottawa's big three tonight

heatley: 154, 58, 127 spezza: 72, 64, 142 alfie: 111, 61, 252
together they average 6 points per game. why trade them now for some money?

I think both moves are justified in this case. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do. Both have pros and cons.
These are not perfect schedule transitions, that is why there is the guessing game.

Right, well said SW. chipsnbeer, you may make a bit of money today on Gagne, but the bet you are making is that Philly will outscore Ottowa tonight. A valid bet, but it's almost a crapshoot. It's also a possibility that Gagne or someone on Ottowa gets hurt, and if it's a Gagne, I'd be awfully pissed that I traded into someone who got hurt from someone who also had a game on the very same day (and it's happened to me before). Many factors here.

Funny, chipsnbeer....Yes, it's a crapshoot for a single game's points, for sure. I guess I don't get a feeling that Gagne is going to soar tonight, but more like a decent pop, but I'd be surprised if it were 6 figures. So, I'm not compelled by the monetary gains, and I don't think the senator forwards are going to lose much, if any, $, so the trade is about "some" $ and a potentially higher score from Gagne vs. Heatley or Forsberg vs. Spezza. 50-50, I guess, so I'll hold. I could miss out on points and money if I'm wrong, but it's a conservative approach...for now.

More deliberating, I am down to 2 ideas....
1) Gagne > Heatley (today)......vs was, atl Selanne > Hejduk (Nov 7).....@col, sj, min
2) Heatley > Hejduk (Nov 6)......vs tb, nyi Selanne > Gagne (Nov 5).....@col, sj Gagne game vs atl
Both options are 5 games. I guess option number 1 makes more cash? Both are 5 game situations through Nov 7. I am sold on my "enders" of Gagne and Hejduk, I just have to figure out which combination I want.

I don't think the gains from Option 1 are enough to be a determining factor alone. I can't see a clear advantage in either case, so flip a coin ;)
Like most others im still debating wether or not to pull the trigger on one or both of my OTT players. Gagne's got more RV gain potential over Forsberg, making a Heatley trade more likely than one with Spezza if i do go with one move now and one later. But like i mentioned, i don't think it's enough of a gain to base the trade on that alone. Ownership of the two players (Gagne/Heatley) is about 500 apart, so trading for one night of differentiation is also a posibility. Then again, Heatley could go off for 3 goals or 6 the way he's been... But Gagne has big game potential too... Headache.

Spezza and Heatley must go saturday, looking at Forsberg and Crosby at Center. Not sure on wing, maybe Hedjuk.
Chouinard => Staal next wednesday, maybe sooner if Chouinard still sucks.

Well, Desjardins leaves with a concussion and keeps the pressure on trade-wise. The AP states he'll be evaluated Friday - stay tuned. Might see a lot of moves to Pitkanen or maybe even Staios if there's an issue.

Dang, I have Desjardins on two teams...have had for a while, and that's just a waste of a trade...I wanted to upgrade my D-men but not THAT d-man. Concussions do not bode well...the players are usually out longer than the estimates, not shorter (and rightfully so...). Desjardins has increased enough $-wise that this trade would need to be made if the prognosis is any missed time.

Worse for me, i may be out of trades come Saturday... At least i don't have to worry about getting "Legace'd"... Although there's always the chance of getting "Jagr'd", but the hockey gods wouldn't do that to me, would they?

Forsberg and Gagne outpointed Spezza and Heatley by 131points last night. Their values increased them by 160k. If one was going to make that trade earlier or later it looks like earlier was the smartest move.

I am wondering what to do with Spezza tomorrow. I already have Forsberg and Lecavalier. I would like to move to Staal, but with three days off, his schedule is not much better than Spezza's. I could make a short term move to Horcoff or Stoll and then to Staal on Wednesday, but I don't know if their points for two games would be worth the extra trade.
Anyone else in a similar position?

Too many enticing centers, too few center-spots... I honestly wouldn't know what to do in that situation Little M, but I think getting rid of Spezza is essential. I think I'd turn him into Staal either today pre-freeze or if you want to play it "safe", tomorrow. I'm yet to figure out how I'll be able to get Staal, might have to boot Williams which I'd hate to do.

Desjardans injury may have been a blessing to my team. That trade was probably going to be used to upgrade Gleason. So now, while I'm stuck with him, I have a lot of extra cash, and can easily go to Legace when needed. If I would've made the upgrade, it would've been really close.

Later in the week:
Grahame -> Legace whenever he comes back.
Note: I'm 200k short to make these moves, what are the chances I make it up in all these spots before I have to move everyone? :( If I can't I have to bail on one of them, either Visnovsky or Legace. Of course Visnovsky is tomorrow, so I'm hoping some news is out on Legace to help me decide...
