Subject: Esche vs. Nittymaki

Guys, I'm being offered a big trade in my Yahoo pool, and the guy has both the PHI goalies and is offering either one, but only one.

Which one is going to be better in this season? It seems that it's Nittymakis now, but for how long you know??

Appreciate it...

Nittymaki has historically had a high save percentage in the minors, while Esche has hovered around .900. Nittymaki only put up a .895 save percentage last year, but he should be able to raise that quite a bit this year.

Based on that, I'd say Nittymaki has the best chance at success this season. Plus, it looks like he's getting the chance to start for the near future.

Nitty is somewhat hurt, tho apparently a cotisone shot has helped. How long that lasts, who knows. Talent-wise, Nitty wins in a landslide imho. So how big do you want to gamble? The high-risk/high-reward pick is Nitty.

Tricky though because it seems that if Esche were to start and have a good game, it would just as quickly be his job. You know what i mean?
Bobby Clarke likes Esche more, how much pull that has.. i don't know
