Cobwebs, I wish I was that eager. Why is it when I get a fairly good draft spot I tend to over analyze the pick. It should be quite simple. Pick the 4th best player. Why must I agonize over the easiest pick i'll make in the 21 rounds????

Folks, with this draft software you can trade players and/or picks while the draft is ongoing. I'm not trying to complicate matters, but sometimes having the tools to make in-draft trades is pretty cool.

I had four forwards that I was looking at. Not surprisingly, they went top 4. Still, I wasn't disappointed to get Kiprusoff. It is always painful at this time of the draft as 14 players get taken before my next pick.

Folks...I AM SORRY
I have not been checking in on the Hockey forum page for days (nor my e-mail for two days) and what I did is not acceptable. It won't happen again. I did the same thing in the AAA baseball draft where again I drew the #1 slot, but I was never more than an hour on a pick after that...so..I won't be missing in action again.
Except for a trip to a Ft worth area conference begining Thursday of next week. I will be sure that PD and philflyboy have ahold of my shorthair before I get out of pocket then.
I can't return the time to you, but, again, I do apologize for my unwarranted delay.

First of all, thank you for the consideration in stopping the draft to clarify my queue. I really appreciate it.
I am extremely busy at work right now and have not been able to put as much time into the pool as I would have liked. In addition, everyone else in the pool has been keeping the draft moving along at a great pace.
Secondly, Monday will probably be even worse for me, so I will try to leave a long queue to not slow down the draft. Let me know, if you will be available on Monday and I will add you to my Designated Pickers list.

Just to confirm for our keepers for next year:
You may keep 3 players, but no more than 1 at any one position.
This will be defined as to what position Yahoo deems them to be eligible at the start of next season. So if Don Cherry has eligibility at both C and LW, then it is your choice. So you could keep Don Cherry as a LW and then pick up another C, even if most people assume Don Cherry was officially a center.
This will alleviate any keeper eligibility problems that might arise, as there are some players that Yahoo list at multiple positions.
Does that make sense?

Post 77 states that we have goalie games from 100-162 games. (Minimum and maximum)
As for keepers...I think to keep things easy, all teams should keep 3 players. Willing to hear alternate discussion though.
