Since you can get Wade, give Foster 1 more game and take a flyer with Hinrich or Diaw. I think Hinrich is the next cheapie train. He's been getting 30 minutes a game and doesn't look like the scared kid he was at the beginning of the season. He's still in gravity right now, but he was -20 last night, so Tuesday or Wednesday he should start turning it around. I'd hope for a good game from him on Tuesday and then run with it.
Of course, there's so many good options at cheap guard right now Diaw, Murray, Jiri, Arroyo, Josh Howard. Most will do better than Foster is doing lately.

Sweet. The music is cool. Was waiting for the lights to go out and the Bulls logo to pop up.
With the holidays going on and 3 extra people in the house for 2 WEEKS!
Not sure how much time I will around but will make a good effort of climling up the WWR and help are team take home the championship.

Tonight's the first night, let's start off on top and stay there! I have 8 going tonight which I think is great since there are only 5 games being played.
Ginobili and Duncan aren't facing the halfcourt game from Houston anymore and Bosh hopefully will fare better against the Dallas front court (although Dallas better win...go Mavs.)
Baron goes against the Clips, please make it worthwhile for holding you. My biggest concern is Boston Vs. Minn. as sometimes Minn can step it up and play some defense. All-in-all I hope for high scoring games, a couple of overtimes and I don't care who wins (except Dallas).

Ok. I need a little team advice. I've got Bosh and Baker as my Centers. I want to stay with Baker for now. But Bosh is a must sell coming up b/c of schedule (points and money).
I've got a few players I'm a little nervous about on my team, but I really need a Center and I'm pretty well maxed out on money. Not sure who to replace Bosh with. I thought perhaps I could trade Duncan for J.O. and Bosh for Zach Randolph. Both Indy and Portland have decent schedules through the holidays. I Think J.O. is past his pneumonia and I was waiting for ZR to get suspended, but it looks like it's not going to happen.
I'd like to do this tonight, as Zach has a game, and it will save me any potential price leaks from Duncan. I'm not sure how soon Bosh will start to leak.
Thoughts/advice?

Looking at your team, an option may be Brad Miller... you'd have to downgrade Duncan further than to JO, but he's got a reasonable long-term schedule and hopefully will keep filling up the stat sheet.

i am moving Jiri+Foster --> Arroyo+Wade, leaving me with 0 trades and $0 but with plenty of problems to deal next trading week (TD, Baker, Lopez, Bosh). Therefore, sometimes next trading week I'll "break" TD and will upgrade Bosh and posible baker.
Pacers: I was against Zach when the DUI was announced, but I admit that he is the more attractive option (longer skd)

OMG... I guess that I WUI (Work Under Influence, or simply because I spent a couple of hours making an 8-player trade in Yahoo)... i almost pulled the trade and then realized that I can't get 2 Guards for a G and a C (Giri was supposed to go)...so... i tried to look for other trades, including breaking-up TD but couldn't find anything THAT attractive (well, getting Wade & Odom for TD and Foster make sense) -- but this and (almost) any other combination yields me 1 net game -- therefore, I'll only trade Foster-->Arroyo (PLIZZZZ tape your ankle well, Carlos), will take (a HUGE) money loss in the coming few days believing that TD can put nice numbers against TOR, @SEA and @POR)
so, my problems are:
Jiri: wait and see how he fits into the new Celts (GF combo and a great skd ahead)
Baker: too good skd to skip (but he'll move when I "break" TD if he continues to produce in the
low 20's)
Lopez: At $530, I can't lose much more... pretty stupid to have both of UTA Guards, but he'll go with TD
TD: see above
Bosh: Holding (ditto re TD)
with 5 trades on hand (less than 5 hours from now)

Looks like lots of folks went Jiri -> Arroyo. I was hoping it wouldn't be that bad. I hate to trade him since he's g/f, real cheap, and great schedule.

Well,
I made my at least twice a year oops move last night.
Both my Gurupie teams were identical until last night. Forgot to update my Assimulator and thought I had enough to make some moves, was trying to get Randolph and Artest on one team picked up Randolph and couldn't buy Artest. So without thinking I went to my GMD team and did the same moves except picked up Artest and couldn't pick up Randolph and then finally figured out that I was short on money!!!! So if my team looks strange that's the reason.

I've had a rough day already...temperature around 103, one kid sick with the flu and out of school all week, the other kid in a cast with a broken leg, today's my 20th anniversary and all I can do is sleep and cough.
My team has 8 going tonight. I went Baron to Brand but had to go to Kaman (not thrilled about this) in order to afford the move. I still have Duncan so I'm hoping for a couple good games over the next 4 days.

Smartone- I would think Zach would be the must have in that equation and I would think you can afford that straight up from Bosh. I would look for a cheaper alternative than Crawford to get if you really want KG now. I guess you want to do it today to get Crawfords game, how bout Hinrick?
Steph and Marion don't have to go yet as tempting as KG is. Maybe wait til Miller goes and look for a cheaper alternative at Center to afford the rest of those moves.

I can't resist the current that's going AK to Brand Tuesday. I also wanted KG but it would prove too costly to the rest of my roster right now. Plus, Marbury is still fairly solid. Pierce can't be traded right now.
I wish I could upgrade Mike Miller but moving to brand leaves me with under 5 mil. and with 4 guards (Miller is a F on my team).

I'm with you Pacer. I could go AK-Brand, Marion-KG and Marbury-Odom but I'd be burning 3 of my 4 trades. It's so tempting with the way KG is playing. On paper, I should make the trade because the 3 I'd be picking up should make more points over 21 days based on sortable I've been looking at. I should get 1426 if I make the trade vs. 1206 if I don't. Mmmm. I think I have too much time on my hands.

There's word out that JOneal is questionable for tonight. But we all know with Oneal he can go either way...
AK47 --> Odom is a good move, but be prepared to have some trades in the bank when it's time to move Odom and Wade in a week.
It's the one reason I didn't go to Odom Saturday, when I corrected by FooBar from last Tuesday.
I'd have to deal with James, Wade, and Odom at the same time.
Btw you can use the Odom trade to move back into AK47.
Other choice might be AK47 --> Martin.
Martin says he's going to play tonight.

Trying to formulate a valid long-term plan to free up enough money to get KG as quickly as possible. No real reason why I didn't dump Bosh last night, I had planned to move to Etan, was looking at my teams, and just forgot to do it. Now my plan is as such:
Bosh->Etan (Wash sched looks fine and EJ loves his energy)
Arroyo->Welsch (still getting minutes, GF flex)
Kiri->Marion (quickie hold until the 29th)
BMiller->Baron->BMiller (pick up 3 Baron games)
Marbury/Marion->KG/cheapie on the 29th (need to have KG, hoping either Redd/Dre, but may have to change depending on how much money I'm able to free up)
No idea what I'm gonna do with Wade in a week, probably figure that out with the person who I'm getting from KG.

FWIW, I think I'm going to do AK and Bosh to LeBron and Baker tonight (already have KG and Brand). Hopefully I should at least make some moneyfor a change. Really stupid of me not to go Bosh and Q. Rich to Baker and Wade earlier, but I guess I hold Q and miss out on Wade for now. Ouch.

Wow,
glad I pulled that trigger!! AK to EB and CA to KH brought so far about 540K and 89.5 tsnp. All for the not so little price of 2 trades. Hope it continues to pay off. And Brand scored 59 against Duncan! Dang!

Is it a matter of who you know to be included in this? This is my 1st year so I'm not familiar with this but I follow it and it looks interesting. My WWR is 639, my RV is 60.3m and I have 6 trades so I'm pretty happy so far. I am officially addicted to this fantasy league stuff ever since I started with baseball last year. Oh well, now with all 4 kids gone I have extra time.

GF - looks like you were able to take care of Marion to Brand. Let me know if you have comp. access and want anything else, otherwise, I'll keep an eye on things the next few days. I plan on holding everybody on my team for the time being and the only guys you have that I don't are R. Murray and Odom. I suppose Murray could be moved sometime, but not necessary yet, I wouldn't think. If anyone else disagrees, let me know. GF has $2.91 in cash.

Jeff,
I'm not sure you can still get in on the fun. There was a sign up thread and only managers that signed up were available for the draft...I do not know if they are still allowing sign ups. You would have to check with Addicted and the other coaches (try going to basketball standings page and look for the GMD thread).
As for me making my last GMD move...that was said because I have had a poor scoring couple of weeks and my RV is terrible.

My first 10 day contract! I feel like Brian Cardinal!
I see that bd was a shooting guard. I myself am more of a "tweener" but I promise to dive for loose balls, go to the hole, and generally sacrifice myself for the team.
Planned moves:
Lebron -> A Miller 12/31
J O'Neal -> B Miller 1/3 or Shaq 1/6 or Dirk 1/7.
I'm also re-evaluating Baker on 1/4 -- maybe to E. Thomas.
If there's any group moves you want me to make, just say the word. I have a comfy 450 point lead in my auto-division, so I can make a few short-term moves if that's what's needed for us to win a session.

Welcome joe suspect and "R".
Explaination for pickups:
joe and Gary Dotson basically had the same lineups and almost the same trading period points.
I was surprized to see Gary drop to philflyboy though.
"R" was a little harder to decide, DeanMartin (Dotson's cousin) and "R" were pretty close.
I decided on 3 points:
1) DeanMartin had said that his Internet access was from the Library, and didn't know if he got that PC for Christmas or not.
2) Any friend of J's is a friend of mine (;
3) "R" picked up Dirk. I like that move.
Also thank's to Vilica and bd for their contributions to the team. Your severance pay is in the mail.
