Griffin leaves Nets before he plays in a game
The Nets should cut their losses now and release him. Unfortunately it looks like he is going to be a constant headache. |

damn, is it all that difficult to play f#ckin' basketball, earn millions of dollars, be an idol for childs, have to sleep with beautiful women and have nothing to do but play golf from 35 to 70 years old? Damn again, if you don't need it and you want to waste it being a complete mor#n, give your talent to me!!!!

Blade, no great loss IMO.
BTW, do you still have season tickets?
What do you think of the move to Brooklyn. Sucks for me as I'm from NJ. I won't go thats for sure.
By the time they get there, if they do Kidd will be about done and who knows what the new owners will do with Kmart and RJ when their contracts expire.

Dave R,
If they make that Brooklyn move official I will have to give up my tickets. For me it would be about a 90 minute drive or so with traffic and that would be very inconvenient. My only hope is the Brooklyn deal gets bogged down in the courts and Ratner gets impatient and puts the team back up for sale. A new owner keeping the team at a renovated Meadowlands would be the best case scenario for me.

I don't think it'll happen. The idea started up when the Nets/Yankees thing got going, but it appears that there is only a little momentum moving that one along, and some wishful thinking on the part of Brooklyn.

blade- by any chance do you have decent season tix you would be willing to sell to them at home against the Bulls? I want to see my team but not from the nose bleeds that TM offers.

Farn:
that game is a designated "Season ticket holders exchange game." i couldn't make a couple games before christmas and exchanged those december tix and my March 12th Bulls tix for more Bulls tix. i did this so i could take a couple friends who aren't season ticket holders to the Bulls game and this way we would all sit together. it turns out my "new" Bulls tix are worse than my regular seats.

anyway, I hate this persecution against marijuana. there are worst drugs like alcool and cigarettes that every Govern admits and that cause way more bad effects and deaths than marijuana.....

Take it to the Politics forum. Please don't turn this into a "Legalize it" debate here.

the Nets have announced they will release Eddie Griffin shortly after the All-Star break no matter what happens in his court appearance in Houston on Friday.
Thank you Rod Thorn for finally coming to your senses.
