Andrea Bargnani selected with the #1 pick by Toronto. He becomes the 1st European player to be selected as the #1 pick in the NBA.

I haven't read the critique for this pick yet, but looking at his stats in the European League, he looks a lot like Bosh! Did I miss something here? Is Toronto planning on trading Bosh?

What about the Knicks ? Balkman, huh ?

Also rotoworld reports:
Sebastian Telfair has been traded to the Celtics along with Theo Ratliff for the seventh pick, Dan Dickau and Raef LaFrentz.
Telfair will be the starting point guard for the Celtics next season, and would have been the best point guard in this draft had he been in it. Jun. 28 - 9:39 pm et

Bosh can play PF, and could flourish even more there. Less pounding, can step to the high post area more, etc.

Portland on a trading tear.

The Chicago Bulls selected power forward LaMarcus Aldridge with the No. 2 pick in the NBA draft, He's been traded to Portland for the fourth pick, where the Bulls will take Tyrus Thomas. Viktor Khryapa is also going to the Bulls in the deal.

The Blazers will get Dan Dickau, Raef LaFrentz and tonight's No. 7 pick in exchange for Ratliff and Telfair.

Brandon Roy has been shipped to the Blazers for Randy Foye.

The Suns selected point guard Sergio "Spanish Chocolate" Rodriguez, and traded him to the Blazers for cash considerations.

Meanwhile, Phoenix sells both their picks and comes away with nothing. Wild.

It looks like Phoenix is counting on having Stoudamire back and healthy next year essentially keeping the team intact. The $$ will probably be used as a bonus in signing Diaw and Barbosa and keeping the team salary under the cap.
