Oden, then Durant, as expected.
Horford to Atlanta---did they just say it's the 5th straight year they drafted a forward???!!!?!

Conley for Memphis, no real shock there. Now, will the Celtics take Jeff Green so they can potentially tie up the Ray Allen deal? And where's Yi gonna go?

Deal is done, allegedly, Ray Ray to Boston. Delonte West, Wally, and the # 5 pick. And Seattle will take Green too. Wow.

So Seattle has Durant AND Green. But no Ray.

This is all by the book so far. Even Atlanta dodging yet another chance to get a decent PG! Do you think they'll go for Acie Law at 11?

TWolves with Brewer.

Wolves must have been praying for Yi to sell some jersey's if KG's gonna be a gonner. I'm sure Brewer is good, but he isn't going to sell a jersey to half of the Chinese population.
I'll hop the Atlantic and scream at the Atlanta management team myself if they don't take Law or Crittendon at 11.

I thought Chicago maybe would have gone for Hawes. Noah's not too suprising though. Should be Hawes at 10 now for Sactown? They REALLY need another big man.

Now we just need to wait for Atlanta to shoot themselves in the foot and take Tiago Splitter instead or Acie or Jarvis ;)

This is where my interest wanes a bit, as i'm getting to the players i don't know a lot about now.

Ray Allen and Seattle's No. 35 pick are being sent to the Boston Celtics for Jeff Green, Delonte West and Wally Szczerbiak.
The deal is done, but not official yet. The deal originally broke around the time the Celtics took Green, but the fact the No. 35 pick was included emerged a little later.(rotoworld)

Breaking News Magic trade No. 54 pick to Rockets for cash
I think the Rockets may have gotten the better deal though I guess it depends on how much cash was sent.

I don't understand why nobody seems to have noticed that Seattle drafted two players that play the exact same position. Don't Durant and Green seem to be perfect SF in the NBA. Neither is big enough to play PF and neither is a good enough shooter or ball handler to play SG? Maybe I'm way wrong but it feels like they drafted two players who will not get to play at the same time.

Fascinating Z-Bo trade to NYK. You have to love that from NY's perspective. Was Portland so desperate to unload Randolph that they had to take that contract of Francis? But then again, maybe Francis is re-motivated back in the West, and runs the point?
Francis, Roy, Oden, Aldridge, Frye ain't bad.

I'm shocked by that Warriors trade. Yes they are overstocked with swingmen, but for a project like Wright, even considering the upside? I mean, JRich is a borderline All Star! Fascinating.

JRich is borderline, alright. He can score a lot of points for teams that lose lots of games.
Francis, Roy, Oden, Aldridge, Frye ain't bad.
Absolutely! Word is they are going to go after Rashard Lewis, who wants to play for Nate McMillan again. The Blazers had to move Zach to get LaMarcus on the floor. He can't keep up with the fast pace game that Nate wants to utilize. I was telling my buddy in Portland right before the trade that they'll leave Oden under the defensive basket and Zach on the offensive end and simply beat teams five on four.
Stevie Franchise has always loved the Pacific Northwest, I think it is the evergreen tree and snow covered mountain backdrops of his salmon fishing expeditions. Rip City!
As for my Sonics, it's hard to believe that a day in which you draft someone of Kevin Durant's stature can still lead to such dread. They traded Ray Allen, an aging but amazing talent, for a player who all but guarantees that Rashard will not be coming back. We were hearing "Luke Ridenor for the 11th pick" and smiling, and instead getting World B. Szczerbiak and Rashard's replacement for all of our offense. What the hell just happened? At least Robert Swift will be back next year...

Vancouver must have been too North for the Steve FranCancer. The guy has done nothing but pout and get dealt from every place he has been (or almost been, in Vancouver's case).
Don't get me wrong. Zack's a turd and needed to be moved. Miles is the next lazy bum to go. Please be a package deal with Disenfranchised.

I have done a 180 on the JRich trade. With the amount of money they have saved, and the $10MM trade exception they gained, the B. Wright part of this is only part of the equation --- the second half could be a veteran big man or other piece that can make the whole picture look different.
Richardson was a fan favorite but he certainly had limits to his game. With Belinelli coming in (a mini-Ginobili?) and the other guys they already have, the move makes a ton of sense.

Agreed. I love the GS side of this deal. can't understand what MJ is thinking. Ray Allen is a heckuva player too for Boston, but who thinks he's enough for them to win right now? I don't like that deal either. Oh well, that's why those guys make the big bucks.

Re: #42,
Agreed, let's hope they deal Darius back to the Clippers along with Franchise in a package deal. Then maybe we'll see the return of that weird little head-bop move that D-Miles used to do.
