It was a tough last session but it is a new year. We are looking forward to more points and upward mobility.

6 Pauls to move today. I have it narrowed down to Kobe and JR. After being 90% sure Kobe, it is now looking like JR.

I went JR. This move gets me back in to Kaman the earliest. I miss Kaman :( Wow that seems odd to type too. Kaman? This guys is amazing. Is it a contract year for him with Brand out? Will he be decent when Brand returns?

I moved Paul to Kobe on a couple of teams. Kobe is a little too expensive for other possible moves on GMD team. I have J rich already and will use Paul as a way to eventually get Howard back is current thought. Debating about using an extra trade before getting Howard.

I remember when I used to be good at this game. Ah well, all good things pass with time.

Dunk,

At least you remember those days. I am starting to think I might have just been lucky.

To all those "has beens" with great track records: Occasionally luck does play a role but it is a long season as G has reminded me of more than once. The glass is half full and getting better.

Dunk and G: You both are excellent traders. Unfortunately, they do not all work. Fortunately it will only take a good trade or two to be good at this game again.

as a word of warning I have no way back into Howard so you can expect him to have a nice stretch of big games.

oh, and I should point out that I will be carrying over a trade for the first time in over a month.

Yeah, I'm one of those has-beens too.

Farn,

Your team does look good even without howard. If Yi puts up some good numbers and you do not get too itchy a trigger finger you could have 5 trades at this time next week and possibly 9 trades after the refresh next week. No one would recognize your team because of trade numbers.

However, I am hoping Howard does have a good run but it is a shorter period this time around--only 4 or 6 games most likely.

thanks for the kind words twolves. Maybe that's why you haven't kicked my underachieving butt to the curb.

I agree that I'm set up ok. The one trade I am considering is out of Yao for his 2 in 7. Just not settled on where I'd go from him. Right now it would be a C unless something happens to my team before then.

We can't catch a break. 6 Hills are the most out of all the GMD teams. It has all been down hill lately.

Yeah Hill really screwed us. Sucks too because it screws up some future plans as well.

moving Hill to Calderon and holding Yi.

As a wise Guru once taught me, when in doubt, hold.

Hey everyone,

We have 7 Beno's and I think the consensus is to hold him. I hadn't had a chance to check in (sick child) but I am also the only one that doesn't have him. Of course I do have him on 4 other teams and will hold on all four.

G,

Your team is off to a good start this week. I see you hoping for high risk/high reward week. You are due for a little luck here.

Daniels and A. Johnson nothing to write home about so far.

The twolves are ugly tonight.

OT helped my Butler move but it also helped Daniels who was very average through regulation.

The T-wolves actually seem like they have gotten worse in recent weeks. I felt like they were in a lot of games until the mide fourth where they would fall apart but now they fall apart early and often.

Yeah Josh Smith. Made up for his poor outing last game. We also have the most Wallace's so that's good.
