One less contender in the West. As great as JKidd is as a player, the Mavs gave up too much to get him. The frontline of Dampier and Nowitzki is a joke, no matter how good their smallball may be, Mavs won't make it past round 2.

they still have bass. and they are getting stackhouse back. i am not a huge fan of the trade but i still think that a team with dirk, kidd, dampier, bass, howard, stackhouse and terry has a very, very good chance to go far this season.

4:25 BOS - R. Rondo dunks the ball. Assist: J. Posey
4:29 BOS - R. Rondo steals the ball from J. Crawford
4:47 BOS - R. Allen drives to the hoop for a layup. Assist: R. Rondo
4:52 BOS - R. Rondo steals the ball from Z. Randolph

i think that's the most tsnp possible on 4 consecutive plays for rondo...maybe if he hit a 3 in there...that's a little picky though

V-2 - That may very well be true, but at least now they have a shot at winning a 1st round series against Golden State. ;)

Defending Shaq isn't real tough any more. And if you just need a big body to "defend" Duncan and Yao, Diop wasn't gonna stop them either. They can sign a 7 footer to foul out if necessary.

question will be who defends kidd ;-). who cares if duncan or yao score a few more points in the paint if kidd dishes out 15 dimes per game and makes everyone on the floor better.

After Rondo's run earlier up this page,
he sat until 3 minutes left in the 2nd quarter
I believe he picked up 0 TSNP since

I saw the last two Orlando games and in both Turkoglu was a victim of the refs. Yesterday they called to phantom fouls on him against the so called superstars Iverson and Anthony.

It's a shame what bonus some superstars have in this league. LeBron for example travels often and should get more offensive fouls but the refs always penalize the defender.

And it's also a shame that Ray Allen (and Rasheed Wallace) gets the All-Star-Game Call over other talented players.

I really like Basketball a lot but i hate to see how the NBA prefers the superstars. It's all about marketing and money.
