A Bulls official said Wednesday that mascot Bennie the Bull is innocent after being accused of attacking Celtics players Kevin Garnett and James Posey during Tuesday night's game.
Bulls officials say a promotional team member fell down while shooting t-shirts into the crowd, causing some shirts to end up hitting the C's bench and players. When Garnett and Posey turned to look where the shirts came from, all they saw in their vicinity was Bennie. The bull may comment later today, but then again, Bennie does not speak and conduct interviews. And thankfully, they weren't firing frozen pizzas into the stands.
