NBA TV's David Aldridge is reporting that Rudy Gay will not start for the Grizzlies on Monday due to disciplinary reasons.

No word on how much he plays tonight,

Where's our guy Corey Maggette?

Marc Iavaroni was commended in a column on HoopsHype recently for sticking to his guns on his disciplining of Rudy Gay, which I assume has now translated into the suspension. Good job by him.

Btw, the Thunder are unspeakably bad -- down 47-28 in the second quarter to a GS team playing without Stephen Jackson or Corey Maggette.

Howard with 30 at the half. Gaining 80k was a nice bonus.

Oops, misread the report on Gay.

And I'm convinced that Maggette is totally aware of how he's frustrating fantasy owners (read: me), and that he likes it and intends to keep doing it. From Rotowire:

Maggette (hamstring) feels that shutting it down for a couple of weeks is not the best way to get his hamstring back to 100%, the Contra Costa Times reports.

Spin: "I'm not trying to shut it down," Maggette said. "The best way I can do it, if you talk to Tom (Warriors trainer), is I've got to sit out. Hopefully, a few days will be fine and I can get back. There's really no rhyme or reason as to what I'm supposed to do. This is new to me to have to deal with this." Maggette, who is averaging 19.1 points and 5.7 rebounds, has been dealing with hamstring problems in both legs since training camp.
