I've emailed TSN, according to Yahoo (and ESPN ), Blair has 6 starts @ C, and should be F/C now.

Or am I missing something?

This got me thinking the other day...yes, it does happen...how hard is it really to keep track of players that meet the "games started" criteria?

So, I made a routine to read all player pages and record the number of games they have started at each position. This is then recorded in a simple database.

Thanks to Dr. Doom's guidance, I figured out my query to show me any player that has newly met the "5 Start" threshold.

This stuff might already be out there somewhere, but I don't know where it is. So, hopefully over the next week, I'll get a webpage setup so the DB can be queried and to get some basic data out.

Currently, the database doesn't take into account positions already eligible for. So, like last night, Ty Lawson made his 5th start at GUARD, which makes no impact since he is already Guard eliglble. But, it also shows that Juwan Howard made his 5th start at CENTER for PDX, thus now being eliglble at that position.

Nothing spectacular...shows "newly eligible" then a table of all players and start counts.

Just thumbing through the numbers...most interesting "on the cusp" guy is Monta Ellis with 4 Forward starts.
