I think I am ok with assists of Jrue/Lawson so I'm looking to move Jeremy Lin for a forward or center. Anyone need assists?

I need some healthy guys. Sounds like I should have also stayed with drafting Thaddeus Young instead of going with Elton Brand. I thought the former all star was going to play with a chip on his shoulder after being amnestied, and with Kaman and Nowitski both out, the way was clear for him to return to his 20/10 ways....but apparently it is not to be....kind of like my G20 season apparently. Hibbert is even slumping after inking a max deal. Crap, the Pacers can't even beat the Raptors or anyone except on a last second shot. At least the Colts are playing some inspired ball.

I think we are just seeing that Hibbert is a very average center. He's nothing special. He's a 12 ppg, 8 rebound big guy who doesn't even shoot 50% despite being 7-2.

I think there a lot of centers out there that can do that if given a chance. He had a few big games in the playoffs that flashed some potential, but across a full regular season thats worse than even guys like Elton Brand the last 2 years.

Looking to trade with some teams that are packing it in for the year. Want quality guys that will be helpful but not necessarily great keepers(aging vets most likely). I have all my draft picks available.

Block and to a lesser extent points are the two categories I don't help in.

At only 3 weeks into the season, it feels a little early to be packing it in. That being said, Jason Richardson could be a huge difference maker for someone this year. Make me an offer I can't refuse.

I personally don't think it's too early to pack it in. If I were sitting in 17th place right now (I'm not calling anyone out, just an example) I'd be going through every contenders roster looking for the future piece I wanted most. It depends on how you view the league and what your goals are. Some managers will fight until the final day of the season for a 6th place finish and do no trades that indicate any future thoughts. Other teams are only in it to win it. Once teams like that come to the conclusion they can't win, it's savy of them to talk to all of the teams that look like contenders. The sooner in the season you make a trade as a rebuilding team, the more value you should be able to get back, one would think.

I think I just sold my spleen to the devil... or something like that. I mean...I have a Laker on my squad (ok. I'll ignore the fact that I just had Jordan Hill on the roster.) Atleast its Antawn Jamison, who isn't a complete douche.

Oh yeah, and Thaddeus Young is a pimp.

GO, Hibbert was 5th in the league in blocks last year, and is pretty healthy in the OREB dept. as well. He has improved every year through last year and I see no reason for that to stop. In reality, he alters a ton of shots that don't get blocked as he patrols the paint with a passion. When his shots aren't falling, he is still contributing that way. After his triple double the other day, he is leading the league in blocks per game this year at 3.1. Not bad for an "average" all-star, $58 million center. That being said, his offensive ship needs to be righted. I think he needs to take and hit more of his elbow shots b/c he's got range to 18-19 feet. He also needs to get deeper post position so he can be more effective with his hook shots.

11Great One

He's had a good start with the blocks for sure. But he still hasn't cracked the Top 100 rankings cause of his abysmal 37% FG% and 54% FT%. How a guy that big can shoot anything less than 50% from the field is hard to comprehend. That's what guys like Baron Davis shoot chucking up half court shots like they do.

At this point he's Ben Wallace in his DET years, but without the double digit rebounding or respectable FG%.

Hmmm. I'm scratching my head at that trade as well. Is there some thought that Augustin (who seems firmly planted in the second unit) will overplay himself? He's a decent enough real-world backup PG but I wouldn't expect to see him in a trade with Felton without more bodies changing places.

DR: Can you chime in with your reasons for making this trade?

Felton is a good but not great PG. DPR is rebuilding and Felton will probably be an average PG at best in 2-3 years. He offered Felton in the offseason so I'm guessing he didn't receive too many decent offers for him then.

Augustin was a throwaway.

Yea pretty much what BMD said. Felton doesnt fit into long term plans (I almost didnt keep him this offeason) so getting a first rounder for him seemed a good offer.

When I earlier put him on the block, the best I received was a 4th for a 5th. Now I know that before the keeper deadline is different but this offer is a significant upgrade.

I'm looking to add one or two 3PM/FT% guys. I'm talking someone with 1.5+ 3PM and 80%+ FT with a significant amount of attempts.

My top preference would be to do a deal or two similar to the Augustin/Felton deal, where I can hold on to the core of my team while adding a solid guy for a pick upgrade.

If I'm not able to make that kind of trade then I would be open to discussing trading one of my keeper C/F types for a similar level guard. That means players like Aldridge, Millsap and Duncan could be discussed. Basically the only players that are "untouchable" are Rondo and Monroe.

If anyone has interest in disussing any of this stuff, email me at michaelpatrickrichards@gmail.com

I'm hurting for blocked shots. Since when has Tyson Chandler not been able to crack 1.0 BPG?! Has he forgotten how to jump or something? He's no better than Jrue Holliday with blocks so far this year.

@ RSF - Clearly you have a number of players that chip-in with 3PM and FT% but only Sir James Harden meets my lofty demands. I don't see myself acquiring him but maybe we should reopen some trade discussions since our teams seem to be a good match for a trade. Now you just have to forget I have Greg Monroe and find someone else to desire.

That's kinda' funny. Just using Rotowire rankings, Meatwads wants to acquire the #5 overall ranked player (Harden), but is unwilling to give up the #10 ranked player (Monroe).

(Felton is #80 overall)

I can see where you guys could've mis-understood me. I said I don't see myself acquiring Harden. I'm not currently offering any player that is fair to acquire someone of his skills. What I meant is that I'm not currently offering any one on my team that is worth Harden, therefore he is not an option for my team. I should've been more clear I guess.

When I said lofty demands I wasn't talking about a specific player, I was talking about someone with 1.5+ 3PM per game and an 80%+ FT% with a significant amount of attempts. Harden is the only player on RSF's team that meets those requirements. Under no circumstance was I comparing Harden to Felton.

Full disclosure though, I told RSF earlier this year that I'd be willing to discuss a deal that involves Harden and Monroe. Monroe is not untouchable, he will just cost an elite keeper, as he should.

For what it's worth, the only reason I said anything to RSF was because he said I described more than half his team. I was just pointing out that I only described one of his players, not more than half his team.

What I really want is someone that does the things I need. Harden does that and much more. He also costs a lot more because of it and I'm not all that interested in paying for that type of player. I'm interested in someone like Jamal Crawford for a pick upgrade, not the #5 player for the #10 player.

As I said previously, I'm most interested in doing a deal like bmd did. He didn't trade Bosh, Ibaka, Smith, etc. He traded his 12th man for someone will he'll play all the time and will help in multiple categories.

I don't think that helps your point! BMD got a very good player for, essentially, a draft pick.

FWIW I've made some trades with Meatwads (and we've had many other discussions about possible trades) over the last couple of seasons. I've never felt he's been completely out-of-line with his offers or counteroffers even if we might value the same players differently.

Everyone is trying to get an edge, and usually that means getting a player better than the one you trade away, in your opinion.

Thanks for that comment PD. I've tried not to be out of line with trade talks. As you said, people value players differently so that's why I always like to discuss trades via email instead of sending out random offers.

I thought bmd did a good job with the trade but I also think his trade partner did well to receive a 1st rounder for someone he doesn't want to keep. It seemed like a pretty standard trade to me and a win/win. I would be happy adding someone of Feltons caliber if I were contending and I'd be happy getting a 1st round pick if I were playing for the future.

There may be certain managers that think Felton for a draft pick isn't fair but I'm not one of them. Regardless of all that, I'm just trying to give myself a chance to win this year after coming up short last year. I want to make a trade that will help me do that. I have some current good players like Aldridge, Millsap and Duncan available for a similar level guy. I also have some future talent like Barnes and Sullinger available. Hopefully someone wants to discuss something soon before I become a seller myself. :)

I didn't realize my attempt to acquire a non-keeper player to help in a couple categories would be such a big topic of conversation. If only this type of attention got me a trade offer or email.

I just used Crawford as an example of the type of player I'd be interested in acquiring. I wasn't specifically saying it has to be him. I'll be happy to explain why I like Crawford over the two players you named though. Jamal Crawford averages more minutes per game, points per game, FT attempts per game and has a higher FT% and FG% than both of them. I also think his production level and role with his team have the best chance to stay consistent.

Would I ultimately settle for someone like Lou or Gordon? Sure. As long as I couldn't get someone that was outperforming both of them in everything that matters to me. Or if I could get them cheaper.

I have a couple of players who can make nice 8th/9th guys on a contender:

Emeka Okafor grabs killer OREB and REB while swatting 1.4 shots a game.

Old vets Richard Hamilton (just returning from injury) and Tayshaun Prince offer scoring in the low teens and top FT percentages.

Modest pick upgrades are all that are required.

Looking to unload Josh Smith for a somebody with better FT%. Do not need blocks and points but need every other category.

He was ranked #16 in the player rater last year. He's 54th this year but getting crushed by FT%. It's by far the lowest of his career so I see no reason why he shouldn't eventually get back to his career avg. Only 27 years old so solid longterm keeper.

Not giving him away and will keep him if the right offer doesn't come along. Looking for minimum top 50 type of player. Very unlikely I'd want 2 players for him unless one is a throw in because you like me :)

After having several trade discussions, it looks like replacing Rondo is not possible. With out him I don't think winning this season is a realistic option.

I'm interested in starting a rebuilding process immediately. I'm looking to get younger keepers and am interested in draft pick upgrades as well.

Tim Duncan, Paul Millsap, Rajon Rondo, Kevin Martin, Kyle Korver, Amir Johnson, Vince Carter, Jordan Crawford, Harrison Barnes and Jared Sullinger are all available.

I have very little interest in trading LaMarcus Aldridge or Greg Monroe.

If anyone has interest in any of the players I listed, feel free to send me an offer or email.

Still looking to deal J.r. Smith for anyone looking for help in 3s. He's averaging 20 pts and 3.1 3pm over his last 15 days. Plus throw in nearly 6 rebs, 4 asts and 2 stls per game over that same stretch which is good for top 25 production.

I'd also consider trading Luol Deng or David West with him in a package deal for teams needing depth down the stretch. I'll listen to any offer and throw counters your way so let's get to it!

Biggest need is a center eligible player that can be considered as potential keeper material for next season. picks are also welcome.

It's unusual for me to be short games going into the final weeks as I usually like to stay slightly ahead of the pace due to the player uncertainties the last few weeks. This year, I dealt with many injuries and had a hard time keeping pace. Varejao started off a beast, then went down early and I was left scrambling for decent center options. Both pgs Wall and Rubio started the season out coming off knee surgeries and missed a couple months, so I had little hope of contending. Making a late season run to likely finish 6th again is pretty amazing.

The final couple months I finally lucked into getting solid numbers from FA pick ups Brandan Wright and Jermaine O'neal at center. I tried all season to trade for another center, and everyone refused to budge even on mid-tier guys. Even offering up guys like JR Smith and David West, couldn't make anything happen. I was prepared to trade those guys and pack it in for next season when JR Smith went on an absolute tear and even collossal disappointments like Scola started putting up big numbers again. I gained 10 points in assists and nearly as many in steals with my guard tandem back, and somehow managed to stay at or near the top in both rebound categories most of the season. Now let's hope for a healthy offseason and see if I can build on this young team's chances at competing.

Wow, thanks... glad I held on. My guys shot great %'s last night to get me a little cushion back but it was definitely very uncomfortable for the last week.
Lawson finally coming back and giving me a few great games helped as did Lebron sitting for Pete for many games down the stretch.

I don't think anyone had cracked the 140 barrier for a while til Pete did it there at the end for a bit... is there a way to check that?

I have now won 2 of the 3 G20/4 leagues... only leaves baseball to complete the trilogy. Has anyone else won all 3?

Congrats to GO!

Now, undo the post-season HumpDashian pickup before we have another Lou Williams event next year.

Too much work/night classes/kid's sports going on. Forgot to make a couple of player pickups the last day.

Hopefully some of these "overall #2 picks" will show their worth...soon.

I have had a great time in the league, but over time I've gotten less and less interest in the NBA and I don't think I've seen more than highlights of a game this year. That doesn't equal me being interested or competitive in a fantasy league, especially one as deep and hard as this one. I'm not planning on playing next year, but in fairness to the next manager, I have a trade offer. Would anyone or maybe 3 people want to weigh in on the offer and tell me if they think it would be a fair trade?

Frick, it was a pleasure having you in this league.

IMO, if you aren't playing next year then you shouldn't be making trades.

That said, if you are 100% not playing next year I'm sure there are more than a few managers that would love your team. I'm sure the commishes would have no problem appointing a new manager asap and that new manager could evaluate the trade.

WG has expressed interest. I'm not sure if any others were on a waiting list, but he's done great with our other leagues.

Are we allowed to trade right now? I thought we were in a moratorium. In any event, Aaron I think you at least need to let me buy you a beer over at B-dubs.

No reason you can't make a trade in the offseason and just have it applied once the pre-draft process starts.
