I'm very interested to know if anyone has but together stats showing the combined seed totals of the Sweet 16 teams over history. I'm thinking that this year's total (70) would be at or near the top.

2015: 70
2012: 70
2011: 80
2010: 80
2009: 49
2008: 70
2007: 51
